1) Scope
This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data on the Hawky apps, website, and services—for customers, vendors, and delivery partners.
2) Data we collect
A. You provide
- Account details: name, mobile number, email, profile info, addresses.
- Orders & preferences: items, notes/instructions, feedback, ratings, support chats.
- Vendors: business name, pickup location(s), catalog, operational preferences, FSSAI/regn. details, payout details.
- Delivery partners: identity/KYC (if applicable), device info, shift/attendance/trip data, payout details.
B. Payments
We receive limited payment metadata (status, method, amount). We do not store card/UPI credentials; those are handled by payment gateways.
C. Automatic collection
- Device & app: device identifiers, OS, IP, app version, logs, crash reports, engagement/usage analytics.
- Location: with permission, approximate/precise location for vendors, ETAs, and delivery. For delivery partners, continuous/background location during active shifts/trips.
D. From third parties
Referrals, social sign-ins (if enabled), maps/geo services, SMS/WhatsApp/email providers, analytics/diagnostics, payment processors, KYC vendors, and marketing partners (only with your consent where required).
3) How we use data (purposes)
- Provide the service: account creation, discovery, ordering, delivery routing/tracking, vendor ops and payouts.
- Communications: OTPs, order updates, receipts; promotions only with consent (opt out anytime).
- Improve & secure: analytics, A/B tests, diagnostics, fraud/abuse detection, chargeback handling.
- Legal & compliance: tax/accounting, dispute handling, regulatory requests.
Legal basis: your consent where required and other legitimate uses permitted by Indian law. You can withdraw consent via in-app controls or by emailing info@hawky.in.
4) Sharing your data
We do not sell personal data. We share only as needed with service providers, vendors/delivery partners, corporate events, and legal authorities.
5) Cross-border storage & transfers
Your data may be stored or processed outside India with safeguards.
6) Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.
7) Security
We use encryption, access controls, monitoring, and comply with Indian law on security practices.
8) Your rights
You can access, update, erase data; withdraw consent; nominate a person; and raise complaints via in-app or info@hawky.in.
9) Children
Hawky is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly process children’s data.

We use cookies/SDKs to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance.
11) Breach notification
If a data breach occurs, we will notify the authority and affected users as required by law.
